PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Selenium is one of the essential trace elements required by the body. It is necessary for normal growth and reproduction. It is used in the prevention and treatment of many degenerative diseases in domestic animals. Its effects are similar to those of vitamin E in many ways. The two substances complement each other's effects. Vitamin E has biological antioxidant properties. Vitamin B1 promotes normal development, regulates digestion and absorption, and acts as a coenzyme in carbohydrate metabolism. It has a preventive effect on functional disorders in the nervous system. Since selenium and vitamin E must be obtained in certain amounts from the diet, their deficiencies are important for all domestic animals. E-sevil Emulsion for Injection is a medication formulated to prevent and treat disorders arising from these deficiencies.

AREA OF USE/INDICATIONS
E-sevil Emulsion for Injection is used in young animals, especially calves, for the treatment of white muscle disease, known as nutritional muscle dystrophy, in the prevention of deficiency syndromes in offspring born to pregnant animals fed a diet deficient in selenium and vitamin E, in cases of weakness and atrophy resulting from nutritional deficiency in the muscles, convulsions, paralysis, transport stress, decreased appetite, liver necrosis, infertility due to the absence or deficiency of active ingredients in the formulation, and developmental disorders in young animals.

In horses: Myoglobinuria and myositis.
